Certified Water Efficiency Professional (CWEP)
Enhance expertise in water efficiency and management with this internationally recognised program, covering audits, cost reduction strategies, and sustainable water use.
Become a recognised leader in energy management with comprehensive training on technical, economic, and regulatory aspects of energy efficiency.

The Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) programme recognises individuals who have demonstrated high levels of experience, competence, proficiency, and ethical fitness in the energy management profession. CEM® comprises an elite group of professionals serving industry, business and government throughout the world.
An international qualification for professionals who require a detailed program of instruction covering the technical, economic and regulatory aspects of effective energy management. The program offers a comprehensive learning and problem-solving forum for those who want a broader understanding of the latest cost reduction techniques and strategies, followed by a voluntary examination which could lead to international certification with the US-based Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
On completion of the CEM® course you will be able to immediately implement solutions to enable energy efficiency. On obtaining certification with the AEE you will be one of thousands of distinguished professionals in the international energy engineering fraternity.
There are no pre-requisites to attend the training course — it is a public course open to all interested parties. Pre-requisites only come into play when a candidate wishes to write the exam and apply for international certification. Ideal for:
Basic problem-solving skills, including quick and accurate use of a hand calculator, the ability to use basic algebra, and to set up problem solution expressions and calculations from a written problem statement.
The CEM® examination may be written on the next day or a later date, subject to pre-application and registration. This is additional to the course cost and duration days. There is no obligation to write the exam on the last day — an alternative examination day may be registered for within three years of attending the course.
Pre-registration and 85%+ attendance of class-based training are required. Should you fail the examination, you may register for a rewrite within three years. Rewrites must be written at least 60 days apart.
All delegates attending more than 85% of the CEM® training course will receive a certificate of attendance with ECSA CPD credits. AEE Examination results will only be released by the EnTF's AEE Certification department to candidates in good standing with the EnTF.
Each CEM® candidate must attend the training, pass the written 4-hour examination with 70%, and meet one of the following criteria:
Re-certification is required every 3 years subject to participation in the AEE continuing education program (CEP).
